How the service area breaks down
Four clusters, each with its own housing stock and its own recurring problems. Knowing which one you are in tells us a lot before we arrive.
The Hewletts
Hewlett, Hewlett Harbor, Hewlett Neck, Hewlett Bay Park
This is home ground. The shop is on Broadway, so a call from any of the four Hewletts is a short drive and same-day work is genuinely realistic rather than a marketing line. The housing stock is mixed: larger center-hall colonials and waterfront homes east toward the bay, and prewar two-family homes and apartment buildings closer to the LIRR station. The bay-side homes deal with more humidity, which affects drying time, so we bring extra airflow on those jobs as a matter of course.
Woodmere, Cedarhurst and Lawrence
Woodmere, Cedarhurst, Lawrence, Inwood
Straight down Broadway and Rockaway Turnpike. These are busy households that host often, and the work reflects it: dining room rugs, upholstered dining chairs, and stair runners that see constant traffic. We do a lot of pre-holiday and post-holiday cleaning here, and booking a week ahead of a simcha or a big dinner is the difference between getting the slot you want and taking what is left.
Valley Stream, Lynbrook and Rockville Centre
Valley Stream, Lynbrook, Malverne, Rockville Centre, Franklin Square
North and west along Peninsula Boulevard and Rockaway Avenue. Smaller lots and a lot of postwar capes and splits with carpet on the stairs and the upper floor. Stairs are always the dirtiest square footage in a house because soil concentrates on the nose of each tread, and it is the single area where a proper cleaning shows the most obvious before-and-after.
The South Shore
East Rockaway, Oceanside, Island Park, Long Beach, Atlantic Beach, Baldwin, Freeport
Closest to the water and the most affected by it. Salt air leaves a faintly tacky film on fabric that grabs dust faster than inland homes, so drapes and upholstery here benefit from a shorter cleaning interval. Homes that took water in past storms sometimes have a musty base in basement carpet that needs a full flush rather than a surface pass, and we will tell you honestly when the problem is underneath the carpet rather than in it.
Getting to you
Minutes from every town on this page
The shop is on Broadway just north of the Hewlett LIRR station. From there, Hewlett Harbor, Hewlett Neck and Hewlett Bay Park are a few minutes east, Woodmere and Cedarhurst are straight down Broadway, and Lawrence and Inwood are a short run further south. Valley Stream, Lynbrook and Rockville Centre are a straight shot up Peninsula Boulevard or Rockaway Avenue.
That proximity is the reason same-day work is realistic here in a way it is not for a company dispatching from mid-island. If you call in the morning with a spill before company arrives, there is a good chance we can be there that afternoon.

Service area FAQs
Do you charge a travel fee for towns outside Hewlett?
No. Every town listed on this page is covered at the same rate, and the quote you get is for the cleaning itself. If you are outside this area entirely, call and ask. We take work further out when the schedule allows and we will tell you before you book rather than after.
Which towns can you reach the same day?
The Hewletts, Woodmere, Cedarhurst, Lawrence and Inwood are the most reliable for same-day work because they are minutes from the shop. Valley Stream, East Rockaway, Oceanside, Lynbrook and Long Beach are usually possible if you call before 2 PM. We will give you a straight answer on the phone rather than penciling you in and rescheduling later.
Do you work in apartment buildings and co-ops?
Yes, throughout the Five Towns and along Broadway in Hewlett. Many buildings require a certificate of insurance on file and some require an elevator reservation for equipment. Tell us the building when you book and we will deal with the management office directly so nothing holds up the appointment.
Do you clean commercial spaces as well as homes?
We do. Offices, studios, storefronts, waiting rooms and small medical practices across the same service area. Commercial work is usually scheduled early morning or evening so it does not interfere with your business, and we are open until 9 PM seven days for exactly that reason.
Can you do a whole house before a move-in or closing?
Yes, and it is one of the better times to have it done because the rooms are empty. An empty house cleans faster, dries faster and costs less than the same square footage with furniture to work around. Give us as much notice as you can around a closing date, since those weeks book up.
